Description
Suitable for: Sieving cold or crystallized honey; fits conical strainer Ø 32 cm.
The Logar heating coil Dana api Therma (Art. No. 7120) is a thermostat-controlled heating coil whose heat is monitored by a temperature sensor connected to the thermostat. The temperature sensor prevents the honey from overheating and protects the sieve from damage.
The heating coil is particularly suitable for sieving cold or crystallized honey. The temperature can be set between 30–85 °C; we recommend a setting range of 45–70 °C. Higher melting temperatures may be required without harming the honey. The honey begins to flow through the conical sieve once the melting point is reached (typically around 35–40 °C).
The supplied cone for the nylon conical strainer distributes heat evenly and increases the heating surface area, so the honey liquefies more quickly.
RECOMMENDED accessories:
- Art. 7220, cone for nylon conical strainer, Ø 32 cm – distributes heat and provides a larger heating surface area for faster liquefying of the honey.
- Art. 7221, wooden stand for nylon conical strainer, Ø 32 cm
- Art. 7202, nylon conical strainer very fine, Ø 32 cm
- Art. 7201, nylon conical strainer fine, Ø 32 cm
The Logar heating coil Dana api Therma is the ideal addition for beekeepers who want to gently and controllably sieve crystallized honey. Precise thermostat control preserves honey quality and protects the sieve.
