Description:
This 4-frame tangential extractor features a motor drive (110 W / 230 V) with an integrated safety switch that automatically shuts off the motor when the lid is opened. The extractor is constructed without a bottom and is set directly onto a straining tank and secured with a clamping ring closure — this prevents tipping and increases stability during extraction. The extracted honey flows directly into the straining tank below.

The straining tank is specially designed for straining during extraction. Two welded stainless-steel pinch taps (upper + lower) allow continuous flow of strained honey and near-uninterrupted straining. The fine stainless steel honey sieve (MESCH 26, mesh size 0.71 mm) has a large capacity and a drip rim. Wax residues rise to the surface and can be easily skimmed off; the sieve mesh does not clog even with all-day use. At the end the tank is emptied via the lower pinch tap.

The straining tank can also be used to fill honey jars directly — the pinch tap cuts the honey cleanly. For optimum emptying we recommend using a stand. An airtight lid is available as an accessory; the extractor's adjustable clamping ring can be used for sealing.

Cleaning and safety:
All parts that come into contact with honey are made from food-grade materials. The lid is fitted with special hinges and made of clear acrylic so the extraction process can be observed.
