The wax melter is intended for hobby beekeepers to melt old combs. Approximately 15 frames fit into the perforated frame basket of the melter (the exact number depends on the frame size). The bottom of the melter is inclined toward the wax outlet pipe so that wax can flow out easily. Clean wax drains through the perforated basket floor and then flows through the outlet pipe into an outer container, while debris remains in the perforated basket. During this process the frames are cleaned and disinfected. Wax cappings can also be melted in the wax melter.

The outer container of the wax melter can also be used to disinfect beekeeping tools, equipment and frames. To do this, the wax outlet pipe must be closed with a blanking plug.

The wax melter consists of a stainless-steel container with a capacity of 100 l and a perforated comb basket located at the bottom of the container. Delivery without steam generator.
