LOGAR® self-reversing extractors – high-quality, EU-made honey extractors for high-viscosity honeys such as forest honey or Mana. Motorized or fully automatic control, a stainless-steel honey gate, and an optional heated base provide efficient, gentle extraction.

SELF-REVERSING HONEY EXTRACTORS
The LOGAR® self-reversing extractors are suitable for both hobby and professional beekeepers. These are premium machines from our own production, made from materials approved for contact with honey. They are typically used for extracting high-viscosity honeys that are difficult to spin, e.g. forest honey, Mana, etc.

​​​​​​​PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:​​​​​​​
The baskets are fitted with cassettes that face the shaft when stationary; when the basket turns left or right, the cassettes rotate tangentially (parallel) to the drum. The combs/frames do not need to be flipped during extraction: the combs are extracted on both sides by reversing the direction of rotation (left and right).
We offer self-reversing extractors for different numbers of frames with:
-   Motor drive: the operator sets the rotation direction and speed during extraction. Reliable motor drive with a variable speed control lever for speeds from 0 - 280 rpm, left or right.
-   Fully automatic control: extraction runs fully automatically by selecting the appropriate program. We recommend this option as it allows the beekeeper to attend other tasks while the extractor runs, saving time.
Extractors with motor drive and with fully automatic control have a built-in safety switch that stops the motor when the lid is opened.

Features:
-   Stainless-steel honey gate mounted at the lowest point, allowing all honey to drain from the extractor.
-   Transparent acrylic lid: allows observation of the extraction process.
-   Extractors are available with different numbers and sizes of cassettes. The cassette size should be matched to the size of the frames the beekeeper uses to achieve optimal extraction. The basket cassettes are made of vertical wires with appropriate spacing so the combs are not damaged during extraction; they are linked by a special mechanism. During draining, honey does not remain in the cassette, so the frames are dry after extraction.

The optional heated base for the extractor is available as an accessory and provides:
-   easier extraction of honey, especially during prolonged use,
-   easier cleaning,
-   faster drainage of honey from the drum and improved straining of the honey.
