The LOGAR® tangential extractors are primarily designed for hobby beekeepers. They are high quality, manufactured in-house and made from bee- and food-safe materials. They are easy to operate and guarantee many years of service for the beekeeper.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The comb is rotated tangentially (parallel) to the drum during extraction. Centrifugal force draws the honey out from the side of the comb facing the drum. Once the honey has been spun out of one side, the comb must be turned over and spun on the other side. You can choose between extractors with a central shaft (frames must be removed from the basket to flip them) and extractors without a central shaft, where frames can be rotated or flipped directly inside the drum.

There are tangential extractors for 3 or 4 frames with:
- Manual drive: The hand crank turns the basket; the direction of rotation controls stopping and direction. A later upgrade to motor drive is possible.
- Motor drive: Reliable motor with stepless speed control (0–280 rpm) and reversible rotation. Motor-driven extractors include a built-in safety switch that stops the motor when the lid is opened.

FEATURES:
- Stainless steel honey tap installed at the lowest point so all honey can drain from the extractor.
- Transparent acrylic lid: Allows observation of the extraction process.
- Various baskets available, adapted to the number and size of frames. The tangential baskets consist of vertical wires with appropriate spacing; the basket can be removed from the drum for easier cleaning.
